If you are getting an error each time you attempt to start the Ambling BookPlayer it may be because the play control screen is active without a book loaded. To resolve this problem please shut down the player and then restart it.
Method 1
Turn off your phone and then turn it back on.
Method 2
Use this method if you don't want to power your phone off and back on.
Make sure the application is shut down
1) On the home screen press the MENU key
2) Select the “Settings” option from the menu
3) Select “Applications”
4) Select “Manage applications”
5) Select the “Ambling BookPlayer” application
6) Press the “Force stop” button
Make sure the background service is shut down
1) On the home screen press the MENU key
2) Select the “Settings” option from the menu
3) Select “Applications”
4) Select “Running services”
5) Select the “BookPlayer” service (if it is in the list)
6) Press the "Stop" button
After completing the steps listed above, restart the player and it should correctly recognize that no book is loaded and go to the library so that you can select a book to play.
