Player keeps displaying "File Not Downloaded Yet" message

We have identified a bug in the Ambling BookPlayer v2.00 for the Android which can cause the player to mistakenly display a "File Not Downloaded Yet" message even after the file has been downloaded. This problem can occur if you started listening to an audiobook while it is actively being downloaded and the file was downloaded after the time that you started listening to the book.

There is a temporary work around for this problem which will reload the correct file download state for the audiobook. The steps are:

1) On the play control screen press the MENU button and on the menu select the "Exit" option.
2) Start the Ambling BookPlayer again.

The v2.01 release has this problem fixed and we expect this release to be available within a couple of days.

We have released v2.01 of the player which fixes this issue with the player not recognizing that the audio file has been downloaded.

Please update to this new version which also fixes several other problems.
