When will the Pro edition be released?

The Pro edition development has been delayed by a couple of weeks as we worked to fix a number of issues reported by users of the Lite and Personal edition.

With the release of v1.10 most of these issues have now been resolved.

We are currently expecting to release the Pro edition in mid-December 2009.

Its New Years Day and we didn't get the Pro edition released in December as expected.

The good news is that it is very close. All of the features that are detailed on the web site for the Pro edition have been completed, and a few additional ones.

There are a several additional features that we are still working to add to the first release of the Pro edition, which includes a sleep timer, configuration settings to control whether the audiobook automatically resumes play after a phone call ends, and if so how long to delay before resuming play, a system that will allow you to download all the books in a series without having to select the books one at a time, and some additional support for letting you create your own series and/or named hierarchical groupings of audiobooks to help in better organizing your library as you would like.

I apologize to those who have been waiting so patiently for our release. We are currently expecting to release the Pro edition within the next week.

I just noticed that I had never updated this thread to say that the Pro edition had been released.

The Pro edition was released on January 2, 2010 and has had a number of additional new releases with upgrades and new features since that time.
