Default "Max Bluetooth Repeat Interval" lags

Hi, when I jump forward via the bluetooth controls (htc incredible), the jump forward lags if doing it multiple times, even with the "Max Bluetooth Repeat Interval" set at 0.1 seconds (lowest setting). This problem is consistent with each of 4 different BT headsets I use.

I have tried Mortplayer, which does not have this lag problem when jumping forward/back, so I don't think it is an Android/HTC issue.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I originally tested the Bluetooth support using an HTC G1 phone and the Bluetooth headset that I used when testing always sent the signal multiple times no matter how quickly I released the button.

I have changed the "Max Bluetooth Repeat Interval" preference settings to include a new option for 0.0 seconds. I tested with this setting on a Motorola Droid and it seems to work fine without any extra repeated key signals.

The new option to set the max repeat interval to 0 will be in our next release.

v1.19 adds an additional option in for the Bluetooth maximum repeat rate preference setting to disable the maximum repeat check. If you select this option your phone will process all of the Bluetooth media button signals as rapidly as they are received.
